REBECCA PURCELL TAKES BRONZE MEDAL ON VAULT AT SENIOR BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS
Rebecca competing in her first Senior British Championships qualified for the vault final and took the bronze medal only being beaten by GB Olympic squad members Imogen Cairns & Marissa King
CAITLIN TAKES 1ST PLACE AT CLUB GRADE 2 FINALS
Caitlin Carter will be representing the East Midlands region at the National Club Grades finals in April 2008

Rebecca Purcell & Megan Betts were part of the East Midlands silver medal winning team at the British Schools championships on March 16th in Newcastle. Holly Chandler was reserve for the team.
Rebecca came 6th overall which puts her through to the second round qualifier to represent England at the the UK Schools Games to be held in late August at Bath. The final qualifying competition is in June at The British Championships.

Holly Chandler becomes East Midlands 2007 Challenge Cup Champion
16 year old Holly won the regional title on March 4th beating Jessica Hall from Wade GC by 0.300 of a point.

On April 28th & 29th Megan Betts, Kara Earl, Molly Betts, Ashleigh Wilson, Claire Ward & Joanna Crombie will represent the East Midlands at the British Gymnastics National Grades championships which are being held in Birmingham.

KOGC Senior team win the East Midlands Open team championships 2006 with the Junior team being runners-up.
Team members Rebecca Purcell, Holly Chandler, Megan Betts, Stephanie Clark & Kara Earl won the senior title with outstanding performances from everyone.
Last year's winners Coalville GC were in second place ten marks behind the KOGC team with Wade GC in third place.
Kogc 's junior team took second place behind Coalville GC losing by less than a mark. The junior team was Caitlin Carter, Molly Betts, Hannah Gibson, Jessica Fox & Claire Ward.
Rebecca takes 5th place at the English Senior Championships.
In October 15 year old Rebecca Purcell competed for the first time at this event and was rewarded with a fifth place overall
and also took the silver medal on assymetric bars. Winner of the event was Louise Mercer from Notts GC. Both Louise & Rebecca represent the East Midlands region at national events.
